Clare College strongly supports the Vice-Chancellor's statement about George Floyd's killing. As a College, we must remain vigilant and constantly renew our efforts to ensure that Clare is the fully inclusive and supportive community that we want it to be. We affirm that Black Lives Matter. In the coming weeks the College will review what more it can do to support current and future BAME students.

In the meantime, we remind students, staff and fellows that any incidents of racism are unacceptable and should be reported. Our mandatory unconscious bias training for our staff will continue, complementing the training academic staff receive in their University departments. Clare will assist any Clare student whose work or wellbeing has suffered as a result of these recent events.
