Clare receives grant from the Wolfson Foundation for The Campaign for Old Court

Clare is delighted to announce receipt of a £100,000 grant from the Wolfson Foundation, in support of the Campaign for Old Court.

With this grant, our Campaign has now surpassed £19 million in pledged donations. The second phase of the project, including the major redevelopment of our disability access and construction of the new River Room, will commence as planned this week.

Paul Ramsbottom, Chief Executive of the Wolfson Foundation said, "This is a challenging moment for higher education. We are delighted to be supporting Clare as they press ahead with their ambitious plans, restoring and renewing the glories of Old Court."

The Wolfson Foundation is an independent charity that supports and promotes excellence in the fields of science and health, heritage, humanities and the arts. Education and research underpins all that they do.

Since it was established in 1955, over £900 million (£1.9 billion in real terms) has been awarded to more than 11,000 projects throughout the UK, all on the basis of expert review.

Clare is incredibly grateful to the foundation for their support of the project.
