On 21 October 2022 Clare College marked the start of the 50th Anniversary of Co-Education celebrations with the unveiling of HOMMAGE, a sculpture by Helaine Blumenfeld OBE, and with a lecture given by Professor Polly O'Hanlon.
Helaine Blumenfeld created HOMMAGE to celebrate the 50th anniversary since the admission of women to Clare College in October 1972. HOMMAGE takes its inspiration from this hard-fought decision and how it transformed the aspirations of young women. The unveiling of the sculpture was attended by the Master, Fellows, staff and students and included a beautiful performance by the Clare College Choir.
